Antony
Hubmayer is Head of Performing Arts and Head of Music at Scotch College
Adelaide. He has a background in
performance particularly in the areas of classical, jazz and popular music and
is the manager of the Scotch SoundHouse, a music technology learning
center. He has worked extensively with
teachers and students integrating music technology into secondary school music
curriculums and has presented workshops and papers throughout Australia and
recently returned from presenting at the ISME World Conference in Bologna. In
his spare time, he composes, records and performs using ‘lot’s of
gadgets’. He is a senior music examiner
and moderator within South Australia and is currently studying for a Doctor of
Education degree focusing upon Music Curriculum and Music ICT Pedagogy. His
completed qualifications include a B.Mus.Hons.(Perf.), Dip.Ed. and M.Ed.Stud.
from the University of Adelaide.
